The Oliver 1550 is a 2WD row-crop tractor from the 50 series. This tractor was manufactured by Oliver in Charles City, Iowa, USA from 1965 to 1969. The Oliver 1550 row-crop tractor used the Oliver engine. It is a 3.8 L, 3,802 cm2, (232.0 cu·in) six-cylinder natural aspirated engine with 92.0 mm (3.62 in) of the cylinder bore and 95.0 mm (3.74 in) of the piston stroke. This engine has a three versions for diesel, gasoline or LP-gas fuel. The compression ratio rating is 16.5:1 for diesel version, 8.0:1 for gasoline version, or 8.75:1 for LP-gas version. This engine produced 53.7 PS (39.5 kW; 53.0 HP) at 2,200 rpm of output power for diesel and gasoline version, or 51.7 PS (38.0 KW; 51.0 HP) at 2,200 rpm for LP-gas verison.
The Oliver 1550 is equipped with power assist steering, disc brakes and open operator station.
