Oliver 1600 Series BThe Oliver 1600 Series B is a 2WD or 4WD row-crop tractor from the 4-Digit series. This tractor was manufactured by Oliver in Charles City, Iowa, USA from 1963 to 1964.

The Oliver 1600 Series B is equipped with one of two engines: a 4.3 L (265.0 cu·in) six-cylinder diesel engine or a 4.1 L (248.0 cu·in) six-cylinder gasoline/LP-gas engine and one of two transmissions: a gear type transmission with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears and dry disc clutch or a partial power shift transmission with 12 forward and 4 reverse gears dry disc clutch.

  • Waukesha-Oliver. It is a 4.3 L, 4,343 cm2, (265.0 cu·in) six-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 95.0 mm (3.74 in) of the cylinder bore and 102.0 mm (4.02 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 16.25:1. This engine produced 61.9 PS (45.5 kW; 61.0 HP) at 1,900 rpm of output power.
  • Waukesha-Oliver. It is a 4.1 L, 4,064 cm2, (248.0 cu·in) six-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline/LP-gas engine. The cylinder bore is 92.0 mm (3.62 in) and the piston stroke is 102.0 mm (4.02 in). The compression ratio rating is 8.5:1 for gasoline version and 9.0:1 for LP-gas version. This engine produced 60.8 PS (44.7 kW; 60.0 HP) at 1,900 rpm of PTO output power for gasoline version or 56.8 PS (41.8 KW; 56.0 HP) at 1,900 rpm of PTO output power for LP-gas version.

The Oliver 1600 B is equipped with manual or power-assist (optional) steering, differential mechanical dry disc brakes, open operator station and 104.1 liters (27.5 US gal.; 22.9 Imp. gal) fuel tank for gasoline/LP-gas fuel or 128.7 liters (34.0 US gal, 28.3 Imp. gal) for diesel fuel.
