John Deere GX335

The John Deere GX335 is a 2WD lawn and garden tractor from the GX series of the John Deere lawn tractors. It has V-twin 90° Kawasaki FH601V vertical engine and Tuff Torq K71 hydrostatic transmission. The John Deere GX335 garden tractor was manufactured in Horicon, Wisconsin, USA from 2002 to 2005.

The John Deere GX335 used Kawasaki FH601V engine, it is a 675 cc, (41.2 cu-in) V-twin 90° air-cooled four-stroke gasoline engine with a vertical shaft. The engine is equipped with twin barrel, float type carburetor with fixed main jet; pulse type fuel pump and flywheel magneto transistor type ignition system.

Cylinder bore and piston stroke are 72.5 mm (2.85 in) and 76.0 mm (2.99 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating is 8.1:1. The Kawasaki FH601V produced 20.0 HP (14.9 kW) at 3,600 rpm and 50.2 Nm (5.1 kg·m; 37.0 ft·lb) at 2,400 rpm of torque.

The GX335 lawn tractor is equipped with Tuff Torq K71 hydrostatic transmission (infinite forward and reverse gears), power steering and wet disc brakes. This tractor used open operator station. The JD GX335 also features an electric starter, independent front PTO-shaft with electric clutch and a 15.1 L (4-gallon) fuel tank.
