Ford 3600

Ford 3600The Ford 3600 is a 2WD utility tractor manufactured by Ford from 1975 to 1981.

The Ford 3600 used one of two engines: a 2.9 L (175.0 cu·in) three-cylinder diesel engine or a 2.9 L (175.0 cu·in) three-cylinder gasoline engine and one of two transmissions: a gear type transmission with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears or a synchromesh transmission with dry disc clutch and 8 forward and 2 reverse gears.

The Ford 3600 is equipped with power steering, differential mechanical expanding shoe brakes, open operator station or two-post ROPS (optional), and 49.2 liters (13 US gal.; 10.8 Imp. gal) fuel tank.

The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:

  • Ford diesel engine. It is a 2.9 L, 2,867 cm2, (175.0 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 107.0 mm (4.21 in) of the cylinder bore and 107.0 mm (4.21 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 16.3:1. This engine produced 48.7 PS (35.8 kW; 48.0 HP) at 2,000 rpm of output power and 183.1 N·m (18.7 kg·m, 134.9 ft·lb) at 1,400 rpm of torque.
  • Ford gas engine. It is a 2.9 L, 2,867 cm2, (175.0 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine. The cylinder bore is 107.0 mm (4.21 in) and the piston stroke is 107.0 mm (4.21 in). The compression ratio rating is 7.75:1. This engine produced 46.6 PS (34.3 kW; 46.0 HP) at 2,000 rpm of output power and 183.1 N·m (18.7 kg·m, 134.9 ft·lb) at 1,100 rpm of torque.

Following attachments are available for the Ford 3600 utility tractor:
