John Deere 8100

John Deere 8100The John Deere 8100 is a 2WD or 4WD row-crop tractor from the 8000/8000T series. This tractor was manufactured by John Deere in Waterloo, Iowa, USA from 1995 to 1999.

The John Deere 8100 used one of two engines: a 7.6 L (466.0 cu·in) six-cylinder diesel engine or a 8.1 L (495.9 cu·in) six-cylinder diesel engine and a full power shift transmission with 16 forward and 4 reverse gears and hydraulic wet disc clutch.

The JD 8100 is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, differential hydraulic wet disc brakes, CommandView Cab and 511.0 liters (135 US gal.; 112.4 Imp. gal) fuel tank.

  • John Deere 7.6L (1995-1996). It is a 7.6 L, 7,636 cm2, (466.0 cu·in) six-cylinder turbocharged intercooled diesel engine with 116.0 mm (4.57 in) of the cylinder bore and 121.0 mm (4.76 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 15.1:1. This engine produced 162.2 PS (119.3 kW; 160.0 HP) at 2,200 rpm of output power.
  • John Deere 8.1L (1997-1999). It is a 8.1 L, 8,126 cm2, (496.0 cu·in) six-cylinder diesel engine. The cylinder bore is 116.0 mm (4.57 in) and the piston stroke is 129.0 mm (5.08 in). The compression ratio rating is 16.5:1. This engine produced 162.2 PS (119.3 kW; 160.0 HP) at 2,200 rpm of output power.
