The Kubota L4240 is a 4WD compact utility tractor from the L40 series. This tractor was manufactured by the Kubota from 2007 to 2013. The Kubota L4240 is equipped with a 2.2 L four-cylinder diesel engine and one of three transmissions: hydrostatic transmission with infinite (3-range) forward and reverse gears, FST sync shuttle transmission with 8 forward and 8 reverse gears or glide shift (GST) transmission 12 forward and 8 reverse gears.
