The New Holland MC28 is a 2WD or 4WD lawn tractor manufactured by New Holland from 1999 to 2008. The New Holland MC28 is equipped with a 1.3 L (81.1 cu·in) three-cylinder diesel engine and a hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse (2-range) gears.
The NH MC28 lawn tractor used the Shibaura engine. It is a 1.3 L, 1,329 cm2, (81.1 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 84.0 mm (3.31 in) of the cylinder bore and 80.0 mm (3.15 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 28.4 PS (20.9 kW; 28.0 HP) of output power.
The New Holland MC28 is equipped with power steering, wet disc brakes, Two-post folding ROPS, or an optional four-post canopy, and 50.3 liters (13.3 US gal.; 11.1 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
