The Power King 1217 is a 2WD garden tractor from the 1200 series. This tractor was manufactured by Power King (a part of Engineering Products Company) in Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA from 1983 to 1987. The Power King 1217 is equipped with a 0.7 L (42.2 cu·in) V-twin gasoline engine and one of two transmissions: a shaft-driven gear transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears or a shaft-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse (2-range) gears.
The Power King 1217 garden tractor used the Kohler KT17 engine.
