The Hinomoto E16 is a two-wheel compact utility tractor, manufactured by Japanese company Hinomoto from 1977 to 1979. This utility tractor is equipped with two-cylinders liquid-cooled Toyosha S110 diesel engine with 1.1 l (1106 cc, 67.31 cu-in) of displacement and gear transmission with 6 (3×2) forward and 2 (1×2) reverse gears. This tractor was available in four-wheel version and was called E16D.
The E16 tractor used a two-cylinder naturally-aspirated liquid-cooled Toyosha S110 diesel engine with 88.0 mm (3.46 in) of the cylinder bore and 91.0 mm (3.58 in.) of piston stroke. This motor produced 16.2 PS (11.9 kW; 16 HP) of maximum horsepower.
This utility tractor is equipped with gear shift transmission with 6 forward (up to 13.0 km/h, 8.1 mph) and 2 reverse (up to 9.8 km/h, 6.1 mph) gears. The Hinomoto E16 used mechanical steering, standard PTO-shaft, molded asbestos single plate dry clutch and an open operator station.
