The Hinomoto E18 is a two-wheel or four-wheel (E18D) compact utility tractor, manufactured by Japanese company Hinomoto from 1977 to 1979. This utility tractor was equipped with two-cylinders liquid-cooled Toyosha S111 diesel engine with 1.1 l (1,110 cc, 67.74 cu-in) of displacement or Toyosha S107 diesel engine with 1.1 l (1,070 cc, 65.3 cu-in) of displacement and gear transmission with 6 (3×2) forward and 2 (1×2) reverse gears.
The E18 tractor used a two-cylinder naturally-aspirated liquid-cooled Toyosha S111 diesel engine with 90.0 mm (3.54 in) of the cylinder bore and or the Toyosha S107 with 88.0 mm (3.46 in) of the cylinder bore. The S111 motor produced 18.2 PS (13.4 kW; 18 HP) of maximum horsepower and the S107 motor produced 17.3 PS (12.7 kW; 17 HP) of peak output power.
The Hinomoto E18 utility tractor is equipped with gear shift transmission with 6 forward (up to 13.5 km/h, 8.4 mph) and 2 reverse (up to 10.7 km/h, 6.5 mph) gears. The Hinomoto E18/E18D used mechanical steering, standard PTO-shaft, 2-point rear hitch, (3-point rear hitch was available as an option), molded asbestos single plate dry clutch and an open operator station.
