The International Harvester 574 is a 2WD utility tractor. This tractor was manufactured by International Harvester in Doncaster, England from 1970 to 1978.
The International 574 is equipped with one of two engines: a 3.3 L (200.3 cu·in) four-cylinder gasoline engine or a 3.9 L (238.6 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine and one of three transmissions: a partially synchronized transmission with 8 forward and 4 reverse gears, hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears or a two-speed power shift transmission with 16 forward and 8 reverse gears.
The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:
- International Harvester C200. It is a 3.3 L, 3,282 cm2, (200.3 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine with 97.0 mm (3.82 in) of the cylinder bore and 112.0 mm (4.41 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 7.33:1. This engine produced 68 PS (50.0 kW; 67.1 HP) at 2,200 rpm of output power.
- International Harvester D239. It is a 3.9 L, 3,910 cm2, (238.6 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine. The cylinder bore is 98.0 mm (3.86 in) and the piston stroke is 129.0 mm (5.08 in). The compression ratio rating is 12.0:1.
The IH 574 is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, hydraulic wet disc brakes, open operator station, and 77.0 liters (20.3 US gal.; 16.9 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
