The International Harvester 666 is a 2WD utility tractor manufactured by International Harvester from 1972 to 1976. The
International Harvester 666 is equipped with one of two engines: a 5.1 L (312.0 cu·in) six-cylinder diesel engine or a 4.8 L (291.0 cu·in) six-cylinder gasoline engine and one of three transmissions: a sliding gear transmission with 5 forward and 1 reverse gear, hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears or a partial power shift transmission with 10 forward and 2 reverse gears and dry disc clutch.
The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:
- International Harvester D312. It is a 5.1 L, 5,113 cm2, (312.0 cu·in) six-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 98.0 mm (3.86 in) of the cylinder bore and 112.0 mm (4.41 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 17.0:1.
- International Harvester C291. It is a 4.8 L, 4,767 cm2, (290.9 cu·in) six-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine. The cylinder bore is 95.0 mm (3.74 in) and the piston stroke is 112.0 mm (4.41 in). The compression ratio rating is 7.5:1.
The International Harvester 666 is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, dry disc brakes, open operator station, or two-post ROPS (optional).
