The Craftsman CTX9500 is a 2WD garden tractor from the CTX series. This tractor was manufactured by Simplicity for distributor Craftsman during 2012.
The Craftsman CTX9500 is equipped with one of two engines: a 0.7 L (44.2 cu·in) two-cylinder gasoline engine or a 0.8 L (49.4 cu·in) two-cylinder gasoline engine and a belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.

- Briggs & Stratton 49M877. It is a 0.8 L, 810 cm2, (49.4 cu·in) two-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine. The cylinder bore is 83.81 mm (3.3 in) and the piston stroke is 73.41 mm (2.89 in). This engine produced 30.5 PS (22.4 kW; 30 HP) at 3,600 rpm of output power.
The Craftsman CTX9500 is equipped with manual or power steering, open operator station and 13.6 liters (3.6 US gal.; 3 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
