Ford 7700The Ford 7700 is a 2WD or 4WD row-crop tractor manufactured by Ford from 1975 to 1981.

The Ford 7700 is equipped with one of two engines: a 4.2 L (256.0 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine or a 4.4 L (268.0 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine (this engine was available in 1981, only) and one of two transmissions: a partial power shift transmission with dry plate clutch and 16 forward and 4 reverse gears or a gear type transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears.

The Ford 7700 is equipped with power assist steering, differential wet disc brakes, open operator station or Cab (optional) and 178.0 liters (47 US gal.; 39.2 Imp. gal) fuel tank.

The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:

  • Ford diesel engine. It is a 4.2 L, 4,195 cm2, (256.0 cu·in) four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with 112.0 mm (4.41 in) of the cylinder bore and 107.0 mm (4.21 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 15.6:1. This engine produced 98.1 PS (72.1 kW; 96.7 HP) at 2,100 rpm of output power and 368.8 N·m (37.6 kg·m, 271.8 ft·lb) at 1,600 rpm of torque.
  • Ford diesel engine. It is a 4.4 L, 4,392 cm2, (268.0 cu·in) four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. The cylinder bore is 112.0 mm (4.41 in) and the piston stroke is 112.0 mm (4.41 in).
