The John Deere X710 is a lawn and garden tractor from the John Deere X-series. The John Deere X710 garden tractor is produced at the John Deere Horicon Works plant (Horicon, Wisconsin, USA) from 2013 to 2018.
The John Deere X710 lawn tractor used the Kawasaki FD671D engine. The Kawasaki FD671D is a 745 cc, 45.5 cu-in V-twin 90° liquid-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline motor with horizontal shaft. The FD671D has OHV (overhead valve design); cast-iron cylinder liners; float type carburetor with fixed main jet; transistorized fuel pump; full transistor ignition system. Bore and stroke are 78.0 mm (3.07 in) and 78.0 mm (3.07 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating is 8.0:1. The Kawasaki FD671D produced 22 HP (16.4 kW) at 3,600 rpm.
The John Deere X710 tractor is equipped with the Tuff Torq K90 shaft-driven hydrostatic transmission (infinite forward and reverse), internal wet disc brakes, power steering. This tractor used open operator station and 19.7 L (5.2 US gal) fuel tank.
