The Kubota L2900 is a 2WD or 4WD compact utility tractor from the Grand L series. This tractor was manufactured by the Kubota from 1994 to 1999. The Kubota L2900 is equipped with 1.5 L three-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: synchronized shuttle transmission with dry disc clutch (8 forward and 8 reverse gears) or power shuttle transmission with dry disc clutch (8 forward and 8 reverse gears).
The Kubota L2900 compact utility tractor used the Kubota D1503 engine. It is a 1.5 L, 1,498 cm2, (91.4 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 83.0 mm (3.27 in) of the cylinder bore and 92.4 mm (3.64 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 32.5 PS (23.9 kW; 32.0 HP) of gross horsepower or 25.4 PS (18.7 KW; 25.0 HP) of PTO output power.
The Kubota L2900 is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, wet disc type brakes, open operator station with two-post ROPS and 35.0 liters (9.2 US gal.; 7.7 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
