The compression ratio rating is 8.5:1. This engine produced 14.3 PS (10.4 kW; 14.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of output power.

The Toro 314-8 is equipped with manual steering, open operator station and 8.5 liters (2.2 US gal.; 1.9 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
