The John Deere X475 is a lawn and garden tractor from the John Deere X-series. The John Deere X475 garden tractor was manufactured on the factory in Horicon, Wisconsin, USA from 2002 to 2005.
The John Deere X475 is equipped with the Kawasaki FD671D engine. The Kawasaki FD671D is a 745 cc, (45.5 cu-in) V-twin 90° liquid-cooled 4-stroke internal combustion small gasoline motor with horizontal shaft. The FD671D has OHV (overhead valve design); cast-iron cylinder liners; float type carburetor with fixed main jet; transistorized fuel pump; full transistor ignition system with fixed timing. Bore and stroke are 78.0 mm (3.07 in) and 78.0 mm (3.07 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating is 8.0:1. This engine produced 23.0 HP (17.2 kW) at 3,600 rpm of maximum horsepower.
The John Deere X475 is equipped with the Tuff Torq K92 shaft-driven hydrostatic transmission (infinite forward and reverse), internal wet disc brakes and hydrostatic power steering (four-wheel steering on X475 AWS version). This tractor used open operator station, rear PTO-shaft and 24.6 L (6.5 US gal.) fuel tank.

how much does the 62 inch mower deck weigh ? thank you ! this has been an awesome combination , with zero repairs with the normal bearing replacement after the wear and tear of mowing about 7 – 8 acres every 7 to 10 days MAY thru Oct. 31 for 14 years.
