The Kubota B5100 is a 2WD (B5100E) or 4WD (B5100DT) sub-compact utility tractor manufactured by the Kubota in Japan from 1978 to 1984. The Kubota B5100 is equipped with a 0.5 L two-cylinder diesel engine and gear shift transmission with dry single plate type clutch (6 forward and 2 reverse gears).
The Kubota B5100 utility tractor used the Z500-A1 engine. It is a 0.5 L, 508 cm2, (31.0 cu·in) two-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 68.0 mm (2.68 in) of the cylinder bore and 70.0 mm (2.76 in) of the piston stroke.
