The International Harvester 2444 is a 2WD industrial tractor manufactured by International Harvester in Louisville, Kentucky, USA from 1967 to 1971.
The International Harvester 2444 is equipped with one of two engines: a 2.5 L (152.0 cu·in) four-cylinder gasoline engine or a 2.5 L (154.0 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: a gear type transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears or a manual shuttle transmission with 8 forward and 8 reverse gears.
The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:
- International Harvester C-153. It is a 2.5 L, 2,491 cm2, (152.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine with 86.0 mm (3.39 in) of the cylinder bore and 108.0 mm (4.25 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 47.6 PS (35.0 kW; 47.0 HP) at 2,200 rpm of output power.
- International Harvester BD-154. It is a 2.5 L, 2,524 cm2, (154.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine. The cylinder bore is 89.0 mm (3.5 in) and the piston stroke is 102.0 mm (4.02 in). This engine produced 44.1 PS (32.4 kW; 43.4 HP) at 2,000 rpm of output power.
