The Cub Cadet XT3 GS is a 2WD garden tractor from the XT3 Enduro series. This tractor has been manufactured by Cub Cadet (a part of MTD) from 2015. The Cub Cadet XT3 GS is equipped with a 0.7 L (41.1 cu·in) V-twin gasoline engine and a shaft-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.

I bought a new 2017 XT3 Cub Cadet with Fabricated mower deck in 2017. $4800.00, What a total POS. Within the first 20 hours, the throttle cable locked up, why? because it is routed so close to the exhaust that it melts the Plastic sheath to the cable resulting in not being able to slow down. Major safety issue. The local dealer said that this happens all the time. New cable $30,00, Not covered under warranty. The tech at the dealer said, Yea, this happens all he time.
Within the first 80 hours, the carb had to be fixed three times. It actually Caught fire one time. I would not let a teenager operate this dangerous machine. I now have 110 hours on it and only use on occasion when my other tractors need maintenance. This Cub Cadet is a total POS. I was thinking of buying a Cub excavator but not now. Total unsafe junk!
