Cub Cadet 3185The Cub Cadet 3185 is a 2WD lawn and garden tractor from the 3000 series. This tractor was manufactured by Cub Cadet (a part of MTD) during 1998.

The Cub Cadet 3185 used one of two engines: a 624 cc (38.1 cu·in) two-cylinder gasoline engine or a 570 cc (34.8 cu·in) two-cylinder gasoline engine and a hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.

The 3185 lawn tractor is equipped with power steering, external disc brakes, an open operator station, and 17.0 liters (4.5 US gal.; 3.7 Imp. gal) fuel tank.

The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:

  • Kohler Command CH18S. It is a 0.6 L, 624 cm2, (38.1 cu·in) two-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine with 77.0 mm (3.03 in) of the cylinder bore and 67.0 mm (2.64 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 8.5:1. This engine produced 18.2 PS (13.4 kW; 18.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of output power and 43.8 N·m (4.5 kg·m, 32.3 ft·lb) at 2,200 rpm of torque.
  • Briggs & Stratton Vanguard 350447. It is a 0.6 L, 570 cm2, (34.8 cu·in) two-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine. The cylinder bore is 72.0 mm (2.83 in) and the piston stroke is 70.0 mm (2.76 in). The compression ratio rating is 8.5:1. This engine produced 18.2 PS (13.4 kW; 18.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of output power.
