The International Harvester 300 is a 2WD utility tractor manufactured by International Harvester from 1955 to 1956. The International Harvester 300 is equipped with a 2.8 L (169.0 cu·in) four-cylinder gasoline or LP gas engine and one of two transmissions: a sliding gear transmission with dry disc clutch and 5 forward and 1 reverse gear or a partial power shift transmission with dry disc clutch and 10 forward and 2 reverse gears.
The IH 300 utility tractor used the International Harvester C169 engine. It is a 2.8 L, 2,769 cm2, (169.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline / LP gas engine with 90.0 mm (3.54 in) of the cylinder bore and 108.0 mm (4.25 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 6.6:1 for the gasoline version or 8.75:1 for the LP-gas version.
The International Harvester 300 is equipped with differential mechanical disc brakes, open operator station, and 42.6 liters (11.3 US gal.; 9.4 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
