The International Harvester 606 is a 2WD utility tractor manufactured by International Harvester from 1962 to 1967.
The International Harvester 606 is equipped with one of two engines: a 3.6 L (221.0 cu·in) six-cylinder gasoline/ LP-gas engine or a 3.9 L (236.0 cu·in) six-cylinder diesel engine and a partial power shift transmission with 10 forward and 2 reverse gears.
The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:
- International Harvester C-221. It is a 3.6 L, 3,621 cm2, (221.0 cu·in) six-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline/LP-gas engine with 90.0 mm (3.54 in) of the cylinder bore and 94.0 mm (3.7 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 50.7 PS (37.3 kW; 50.0 HP) at 2,000 rpm of PTO output power.
- International Harvester D-236. It is a 3.9 L, 3,867 cm2, (236.0 cu·in) six-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine. The cylinder bore is 94.0 mm (3.7 in) and the piston stroke is 94.0 mm (3.7 in).
The International 606 is equipped with independent mechanical disc brakes, an open operator station and 86.0 liters (22.7 US gal.; 18.9 Imp. gal) fuel tank for gasoline and diesel fuel or 100.7 liters (26.6 US gal, 22.2 Imp. gal) for LP-gas.
