The International Harvester 806 is a 2WD or 4WD standard-tread tractor manufactured by International Harvester from 1963 to 1967.
The International Harvester 806 is equipped with one of two engines: a 5.9 L (361.0 cu·in) six-cylinder diesel engine or a 4.9 L (301.0 cu·in) six-cylinder gasoline/LP-gas engine and one of two transmissions: an unsynchronized gear transmission with 8 forward and 4 reverse gears or a partial power shift transmission with 16 forward and 8 reverse gears.
The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:
- International Harvester D-361. It is a 5.9 L, 5,916 cm2, (361.0 cu·in) six-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 105.0 mm (4.13 in) of the cylinder bore and 114.0 mm (4.49 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 96.3 PS (70.8 kW; 95.0 HP) of PTO output power.
- Interntional Harvester C301. It is a 4.9 L, 4,933 cm2, (301.0 cu·in) six-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline/LP-gas engine. The cylinder bore is 97.0 mm (3.82 in) and the piston stroke is 112.0 mm (4.41 in). The compression ratio rating is 7.7:1 for gasoline version or 8.7:1 for LP-gas version.
The IH 806 is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, hydraulic dry disc brakes, open operator station and 159.0 liters (42.0 US gal.; 35.0 Imp. gal) fuel tank for gas and diesel fuel or 181.7 liters (48.0 US gal, 40.0 Imp. gal) for LP-gas.
