Massey Ferguson 471The Massey Ferguson 471 is a 2WD or 4WD utility tractor from the 400 series. This tractor was manufactured by Massey Ferguson in Brazil from 2002 to 2006. This second ganeration was manufactured from 2004 to 2006. The Massey Ferguson 471 is equipped with a 4.4 L (268.0 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine and one of three transmissions: a gear type transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears and dry disc clutch, a synchronized shuttle transmission with 8 forward and 8 reverse gears or a partially synchronized transmission with 12 forward and 4 reverse gears.

The MF 471 utility tractor used the Perkins 1104C-44 engine. It is a 4.4 L, 4,391 cm2, (268.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 105.0 mm (4.13 in) of the cylinder bore and 127.0 mm (5 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 19.3:1. This engine produced 73 PS (53.7 kW; 72.0 HP) at 2,200 rpm of output power.

The Massey Ferguson 471 is equipped with power steering, independent hydraulic wet disc brakes, flat-deck platform with two-post folding ROPS or Cab (optioanl) and 65.9 liters (17.4 US gal.; 14.5 Imp. gal) fuel tank for ROPS version or 109.8 liters (29.0 US gal, 24.2 Imp. gal) for version with cab.
