The Simplicity 9523 is a two-wheel compact utility tractor from 9500 series, manufactured by Japanese company Hinomoto on factory in Osaka, Japan between 1978 and 1983. The Simplicity 9523 is the same tractor as the Allis-Chalmers 5020, Hinomoto E23 and Massey-Ferguson 210. The Simplicity 9523 is equipped with two-cylinders liquid-cooled Toyosha S126 diesel engine with 1.3 L, 1,263 cc (77.1 cu-in) of displacement and unsynchronized gear transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears. This transmission has four gears in two ranges (low or high).
The Simplicity 9523 utility tractor used a two-cylinder naturally-aspirated liquid-cooled diesel engine with 92.0 mm (3.62 in) of the cylinder bore and 95.0 mm (3.74 in) of the piston stroke. Compression ratio rating is 23:1. This motor produced 23.0 hp (17.1 kW) of horsepower. The engine used Donaldson dry air cleaner.
The 9523 tractor is equipped with unsynchronized gear transmission with 8 forward (1.4-13.8 km/h, 0.9-8.6 mph) and 2 reverse (2.7-10.9 km/h, 1.7-6.8 mph) gears. This tractor used mechanical steering, molded asbestos single plate dry clutch, differential mechanical drum, and shoe brakes, two-pinion spiral-helical differential with 4.33:1 of ratio, non-adjustable front axle, and gear type hydraulic pump from Kayaba.
The Simplicity 9523 tractor can use the following attachments:
