The John Deere 6300 is a 2WD or 4WD utility tractor from the 6000 series. This tractor was manufactured by John Deere in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany from 1992 to 1997. The John Deere 6300 is equipped with a 3.9 L (239.0 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: a fully synchronized transmission with 12 forward and 4 reverse gears (21 forward and 7 reverse with creeper) or a partial power shift transmission with 16 forward and 16 reverse gears (28 forward and 28 reverse).
