The Mahindra 4035 is a 4WD compact utility tractor from the 35 series. This tractor was manufactured by Mahindra in Maharashtra, India from 2009 to 2019. The Mahindra 4035 is equipped with a 1.9 L (115.4 cu·in) three-cylinder diesel engine and one of three transmissions: a synchro shuttle transmission with dry disc clutch and 12 forward and 12 reverse gears, a power shuttle transmission with wet disc clutch and 12 forward and 12 reverse gears or a hydrostatic transmission with infinite (3-range) forward and reverse gears.
The Mahindra 4035 compact utility tractor used the Mahindra CE40 engine. It is a 1.9 L, 1,891 cm2, (115.4 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 89.0 mm (3.5 in) of the cylinder bore and 102.0 mm (4.02 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 19.4:1. This engine produced 40.5 PS (29.8 kW; 40.0 HP) at 2,800 rpm of output power.
The Mahindra 4035 is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, wet disc brakes, two-post foldable ROPS and 43.0 liters (11.4 US gal.; 9.5 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
