Mahindra 2540The Mahindra 2540 is a 4WD compact utility tractor manufactured by TYM for distributor Mahindra since 2016. The Mahindra 2540 is equipped with a 2.7 L (166.7 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine and a shuttle transmission with 12 forward and 12 reverse gears.

The Mahindra 2540 compact utility tractor used the Mahindra engine. It is a 2.7 L, 2,732 cm2, (166.7 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 89.0 mm (3.5 in) of the cylinder bore and 100.0 mm (3.94 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 19.5:1. This engine produced 40.5 PS (29.8 kW; 40.0 HP) at 2,600 rpm of output power.

The Mahindra 2540 is equipped with power steering, wet disc brakes, Two-post foldable ROPS, and 60.6 liters (16 US gal.; 13.3 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
