The Mahindra Max 26XL is a 4WD compact utility tractor from the Max series. This tractor has been manufactured by Mahindra since 2014. The Mahindra Max 26XL is equipped with a 1.3 L (80.4 cu·in) three-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: a synchro-shuttle transmission with dry disc clutch and 8 forward and 8 reverse gears or a hydrostatic transmission with infinite (2-range) forward and reverse gears.
The Mahindra Max 26XL compact utility tractor used the Mitsubishi S3L2 engine. It is a 1.3 L, 1,317 cm2, (80.4 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 78.0 mm (3.07 in) of the cylinder bore and 92.0 mm (3.62 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 22.0:1. This engine produced 26 PS (19.1 kW; 25.6 HP) at 2,600 rpm of output power.
The Mahindra Max 26XL is equipped with power steering, wet disc brakes, two-post folding ROPS or Cab (optional), and 23.1 liters (6.1 US gal.; 5.1 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
