Ford 6700The Ford 6700 is a 2WD or 4WD row-crop tractor manufactured by Ford from 1977 to 1981.

The Ford 6700 is equipped with one of two engines: a 4.2 L (256.0 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine or a 4.4 L (268.0 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine (this Ford Blue Power Special engine was available in 1981 only) and one of two transmissions: a gear type transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears and dry disc clutch or a two-speed power shift transmission with 16 forward and 4 reverse gears.

The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:

  • Ford. It is a 4.2 L, 4,195 cm2, (256.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 112.0 mm (4.41 in) of the cylinder bore and 107.0 mm (4.21 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 16.3:1. This engine produced 76.6 PS (56.3 kW; 75.5 HP) at 2,100 rpm of output power.
  • Ford. It is a 4.4 L, 4,392 cm2, (268.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine. The cylinder bore is 112.0 mm (4.41 in) and the piston stroke is 112.0 mm (4.41 in).

The Ford 6700 is equipped with power steering, an open operator station or Cab (optional), and 106.0 liters (28 US gal.; 23.3 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
