  • J.I. Case G188D. It is a 3.1 L, 3,081 cm2, (188.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 97.0 mm (3.82 in) of the cylinder bore and 105.0 mm (4.13 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 17.5:1. This engine produced 50.7 PS (37.3 kW; 50.0 HP) at 2,100 rpm of output power and 179.0 N·m (18.3 kg·m, 131.9 ft·lb) at 1,400 rpm of torque.
  • J.I. Case G188B. It is a 3.1 L, 3,081 cm2, (188.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine with 97.0 mm (3.82 in) of the cylinder bore and 105.0 mm (4.13 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 7.34:1. This engine produced 50.7 PS (37.3 kW; 50.0 HP) at 2,100 rpm of output power and 195.3 Nm (19.92 kg·m; 144.13 ft·lb) at 1,300 rpm of peak torque.
  • J.I. Case G159B. It is a 2.6 L, 2,605 cm2, (159.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine. The cylinder bore is 89.0 mm (3.5 in) and the piston stroke is 105.0 mm (4.13 in). The compression ratio rating is 7.42:1. This engine produced 43.7 PS (32.1 kW; 43.0 HP) at 1,900 rpm of output power and 165.4 N·m (16.9 kg·m, 121.9 ft·lb) at 1,250 rpm of maximum torque.

The J.I. Case 580B Construction King is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, differential mechanical disc/band brakes, open operator station, ROPS or Cab (optional) and 83.3 liters (22 US gal.; 18.3 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
