J.I. Case 580 CKThe J.I. Case 580 CK Construction King is a 2WD backhoe-loader tractor manufactured by J.I. Case from 1966 to 1971.

The J.I. Case 580 CK Construction King is equipped with one of two engines: the J.I. Case G188 – 3.1 L (188.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine or the J.I. Case G159 – 2.6 L (159.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine and one of two transmissions: a synchronized shuttle transmission with 8 forward and 8 reverse gears or a power shuttle with 4 forward and 4 reverse gears and a hydraulic clutch transmission.

The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:

  • J.I. Case G188. It is a 3.1 L, 3,080 cm2, (188.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 97.0 mm (3.82 in) of the cylinder bore and 105.0 mm (4.13 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 17.5:1. This engine produced 52.8 PS (38.8 kW; 52.0 HP) at 2,100 rpm of output power and 188.5 N·m (19.2 kg·m, 138.9 ft·lb) at 1,350 rpm of peak torque.
  • J.I. Case G159. It is a 2.6 L, 2,606 cm2, (159.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine. The cylinder bore is 89.0 mm (3.5 in) and the piston stroke is 105.0 mm (4.13 in). The compression ratio rating is 7.42:1. This engine produced 52.8 PS (38.8 kW; 52.0 HP) at 2,100 rpm of output power.

The J.I. Case 580 CK Construction King is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, disc brakes, an open operator station or Cab (optional) and 83.3 liters (22 US gal.; 18.3 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
