John Deere 65The John Deere 65 is a riding lawn mower with small single-cylinder Tecumseh engine and belt-driven gear transmission with three forward and one reverse gear. The John Deere 65 was manufactured from 1978 to 1983.

This lawnmower used open operator station and mid-mount 28 inches (710 mm) mower deck with the single blade. The John Deere 65 used an air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke gasoline engine with vertical PTO shaft and recoil starter. This Tecumseh engine produces 5.0 HP (3.7 kW).

The John Deere 65 is equipped with gear transmission (4×2 2WD) and independent mid-PTO shaft with a mechanical clutch.
