John Deere 110 (1963-1967)

John Deere 110The John Deere 110 is a 2WD garden tractor from the 100 series. This tractor was manufactured by John Deere in Horicon, Wisconsin, USA from 1963 to 1974. The first generation was manufactured from 1963 to 1967, the second generation from 1968 to 1974.

The JD 110 is equipped with one of two engines: Kohler K161 or K181S single-cylinder gasoline engines and one fo two of transmissions: belt-driven gear transmission with mechanical CVT and 3 forward and 1 reverse gear or belt-driven gear transmission with mechanical CVT and 4 forward and 1 reverse gear.

This lawn tractor could be equipped with the following engines:

  • Kohler K161 (during the 1963 model year). It is a 0.3 L, 277 cm2, (16.9 cu·in) single-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine with 74.6 mm (2.94 in) of the cylinder bore and 63.5 mm (2.5 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 7.1 PS (5.2 kW; 7.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum output power.
  • Kohler K181S (1964-1967). It is a 0.3 L, 305 cm2, (18.3 cu·in) single-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine. The cylinder bore is 74.6 mm (2.94 in) and the piston stroke is 69.8 mm (2.75 in). The compression ratio ratin is 6.8:1. This engine produced 8.2 PS (6.0 kW; 8.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum output power.

The JD 110 is equipped with manual steering, manually operated brakes, open operator station and 7.2 liters (1.9 US gal.; 1.6 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
