John Deere 112The John Deere 112 is a 2WD lawn and garden tractor from the 100 series. This tractor was manufactured by the John Deere in Horicon, Wisconsin, USA from 1966 to 1974.

The John Deere 112 is equipped with one of three engines: the Tecumseh HH100, the Kohler K241AS or the K301AS single-cylinder gasoline engines and gear type with variable pulley drive transmission with 4 forward and 1 reverse gear.

The JD 112 is equipped with manual steering, open operator station and 7.2 liters (1.9 US gal.; 1.6 Imp. gal) fuel tank. The 112H variant with a hydraulic lift was also available.

The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:

  • Tecumseh HH100. This engine was the original engine offered in the JD 112 and it was used through 1972. It is a 0.4 L, 388 cm2, (23.7 cu·in) single-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine with 84.0 mm (3.31 in) of the cylinder bore and 70.0 mm (2.76 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 10.2 PS (7.5 kW; 10.0 HP) at 3,800 rpm of maximum output power.
  • Kohler K241AS. This engine was introduced in 1969 as an optional engine. It is a 0.4 L, 390 cm2, (23.8 cu·in) single-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine. The cylinder bore is 83.0 mm (3.27 in) and the piston stroke is 73.0 mm (2.87 in). This engine produced 10.2 PS (7.5 kW; 10.0 HP) at 3,800 rpm of maximum output power.
  • Kohler K301AS. This engine was introduced in 1972 and used through the end of production. It is a 0.5 L, 476 cm2, (29.1 cu·in) single-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine. The cylinder bore is 86.0 mm (3.38 in) and the piston stroke is 83.0 mm (3.25 in). This engine produced 12.1 PS (8.9 KW; 12.0 HP) at 3,800 rpm of maximum output power.
