Kubota L3400

Kubota L3400The Kubota L3400 is a 2WD (L3400F) or 4WD (L3400DT and L3400HST) compact utility tractor from the L series. This tractor was manufactured by the Kubota from 2004 to 2010.

The Kubota L3400 was equipped with one of two engines: a 1.6 L three-cylinder diesel engine from 2004 to 2007 and a 1.8 L three-cylinder diesel engine from 2008 to 2010. The Kubota L3400 used a constant mesh transmission with 8 forward and 4 reverse gears of a hydrostatic transmission with infinite (3-range) forward and reverse.

The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:

  • Kubota D1703 (2004-2007). It is a 1.6 L, 1,647 cm2, (100.5 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 87.0 mm (3.43 in) of the cylinder bore and 92.4 mm (3.64 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 35.2 PS (25.9 kW; 34.7 HP) of gross horsepower and 29.4 PS (21.6 KW; 29.0 HP) of PTO output power for gear models and 27.9 PS (20.5 KW; 27.5 HP) for models with hydrostatic transmission.
  • Kubota XtraPower (2008-2010). It is a 1.8 L, 1,825 cm2, (111.4 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine. The cylinder bore is 86.0 mm (3.39 in) and the piston stroke is 102.0 mm (4.02 in). This engine produced 36.2 PS (26.6 kW; 35.7 HP) at 2,700 rpm of maximum output power.

The Kubota L3400 is equipped with power steering, wet disc type brakes, open operator station with two-post ROPS and 34.0 liters (9.0 US gal.; 7.5 Imp. gal) fuel tank.

Following attachments are available for the Kubota L3400 compact utility tractor:

  • Kubota LA463 loader
  • Kubota BH76 backhoe
