The Kubota L4400 is a 2WD (L4400F) or 4WD (L4400DT, L4400HST) compact utility tractor from the L series. This tractor was manufactured by the Kubota from 2004 to 2010. The Kubota L4400 is equipped with a 2.2 L four-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions hydrostatic transmission (only for 4WD model L4400HST) with infinite (3-range) forward and reverse gears or gear shift transmission with 8 forward and 4 reverse gears.
The Kubota L4400 compact utility tractor used the Kubota V2203 engine. It is a 2.2 L, 2,197 cm2, (134.1 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 87.0 mm (3.43 in) of the cylinder bore and 92.4 mm (3.64 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 43.7 PS (32.1 kW; 43.0 HP) at 2,600 rpm of gross horsepower.
The Kubota L4400 is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, wet disc type brakes, foldable two-post ROPS and 42.0 liters (11.1 US gal.; 9.2 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
