Kubota M5040The Kubota M5040 is a 2WD or 4WD utility tractor from the M series. This tractor was manufactured by the Kubota from 2007 to 2010. The Kubota M5040 is equipped with a 3.1 L four-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: synchronized shuttle transmission with 8 forward and 8 reverse gears or power shuttle transmission with 8 forward and 8 reverse gears. The Kubota M5040 could be also equipped with creeper (12 forward and 12 reverse gears).

The Kubota M5040 utility tractor used the Kubota V3007-DI engine. It is a 3.1 L, 3,053 cm2, (186.3 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 94.0 mm (3.7 in) of the cylinder bore and 110.0 mm (4.33 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 51.1 PS (37.6 kW; 50.5 HP) of net horsepower and 45.7 PS (33.6 KW; 45.0 HP) of PTO output power.

The Kubota M5040 is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, multiple wet discs brakes, open operator station with two-post ROPS or Cab with air-conditioning (option) and 70.0 liters (18.5 US gal.; 15.4 Imp. gal) fuel tank for ROPS version or 110.0 liters (29.1 US gal, 24.2 Imp. gal) fuel tank for Cab version.
