The compression ratio rating is 17.2:1. This engine produced 202.8 PS (149.1 kW; 200.0 HP) at 2,100 rpm of output power.

The John Deere 7200R is equipped with hydrostatic power or ActiveCommand (optional) steering, CommandView II Cab, (AutoTrac ready, except on 2WD) and 503.4 liters (133 US gal.; 110.7 Imp. gal) fuel tank for version with PowrQuad transmission or 522.3 liters (138.0 US gal.; 114.9 Imp. gal) for version with IVT transmission.
