The compression ratio rating is 6.14:1 for gasoline version, 4.91:1 for all-fuel or 7.94:1 for LP-gas.
  • John Deere diesel. It is a 6.2 L, 6,161 cm2, (376.0 cu·in) two-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine. The cylinder bore is 156.0 mm (6.14 in) and the piston stroke is 162.0 mm (6.38 in). The compression ratio rating is 16.0:1.

The JD 730 is equipped with manual or power (optional) steering, differential mechanical drum brakes and an open operator station/ This tractor could be equipped with the John Deere 45 loader.
