The compression ratio rating is 17.0:1. This engine produced 152.2 PS (111.9 kW; 150.0 HP) at 2,100 rpm of output power and 687.5 N·m (70.1 kg·m, 506.7 ft·lb) at 1,500 rpm of torque.

The JD 7330 is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, differential hydraulic wet disc brakes, two-post Roll-Gard ROPS or cab (optional), and 249.8 liters (66 US gal.; 54.9 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
