The first generation, known as “low radiator”, was manufactured by John Deere in Waterloo, Iowa, USA from 1937 to 1941. The John Deere G is equipped with a 6.8 L (412.5 cu·in) two-cylinder all-fuel engine and a gear type transmission with 4 forward and 1 reverse gear and dry disc clutch.
