The Mahindra 2555 is a 2WD compact utility tractor from the 2500 series. This tractor has been manufactured by the TYM for Mahindra since 2016. The Mahindra 2555 is equipped with a 2.6 L four-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: a hydrostatic transmission with Infinite (3-range) forward and reverse gears or shuttle transmission with 12 forward and 12 reverse gears.
The Mahindra 2555 compact utility tractor used the Mahindra engine. It is a 2.6 L, 2,646 cm2, (161.5 cu·in) four-cylinder turbocharged intercooled diesel engine with 96.0 mm (3.78 in) of the cylinder bore and 122.0 mm (4.8 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 17.2:1. This engine produced 55.8 PS (41.0 kW; 55.0 HP) at 2,300 rpm of maximum output power.
The Mahindra 2555 is equipped with power steering, wet disc brakes, two-post foldable ROPS or Cab with air-conditioning (optional) and 60.0 liters (15.9 US gal.; 13.2 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
