The Mahindra 3016 is a 4WD compact utility tractor from the 16 series. This tractor has been manufactured by the Mitsubishi for Mahindra since 2011. The Mahindra 3016 is equipped with a 1.3 L three-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: a synchronized shuttle transmission with dry disc clutch and 8 forward and 8 reverse gears or hydrostatic transmission with infinite (3-range) forward and reverse gears.
The Mahindra 3016 compact utility tractor used the Mitsubishi engine. It is a 1.3 L, 1,317 cm2, (80.4 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 78.0 mm (3.07 in) of the cylinder bore and 92.0 mm (3.62 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 22.0:1. This engine produced 28.4 PS (20.9 kW; 28.0 HP) at 2,600 rpm of maximum output power.
The Mahindra 3016 is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, wet disc brakes, open operator station with two-post ROPS and 27.0 liters (7.1 US gal.; 5.9 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
