The Mahindra 3616 is a 4WD compact utility tractor from the 16 series. This tractor has been manufactured by Mitsubishi for Mahindra since 2011. The Mahindra 3616 is equipped with a 1.7 L (101.4 cu·in) three-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: a synchronized shuttle transmission with dry disc clutch and 8 forward and 8 reverse gears or a hydrostatic transmission with infinite (3-range) forward and reverse gears.
The Mahindra 3616 compact utility tractor used the Mitsubishi engine. It is a 1.7 L, 1,662 cm2, (101.4 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 84.0 mm (3.31 in) of the cylinder bore and 100.0 mm (3.94 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 22.5:1. This engine produced 36.7 PS (27.0 kW; 36.2 HP) at 2,600 rpm of output power.
The Mahindra 3616 is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, wet disc brakes, two-post foldable ROPS or Cab (optional) and 26.9 liters (7.1 US gal.; 5.9 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
